Job purpose
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables (quality, scope, time and budget) for assigned projects are met.
The PM will be responsible for the planning, implementation and successful completion of local, regional and global projects of varying complexity.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provides leadership of one or more projects of increasing complexity in the delivery of services and key milestones to make sure that projects are delivered according to the client's expectations and project scope, time schedules and budget;
- Reviews work produced by project teams, project-related vendors and sub-contractors;
- Develops, reviews and approves project-specific activities and documents, e.g. oversight management plan, trial master file plan, risk management plan, monitoring plan, communication plan, etc.;
- In collaboration with the financial team, manages study financials including sponsor work order, vendor work order development and approval, invoice review and monitoring spent. Facilitates regular forecasting communication with the Finance department;
- Manages vendor work and order changes
