Job purpose
As an HR Business Partner, you are the trusted go‑to advisor for managers and employees on all HR matters. You play a key role within our international HR team and report directly to the Head of HR based in Spain. Working closely with global centers of expertise, you help shape and deliver impactful HR initiatives across the organization.
In the Netherlands, you provide inspiring functional leadership to the HR Assistant and the Front Desk team member, ensuring a smooth and people‑focused HR experience for the entire workforce.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the HR Business Partner include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide solutions 
  • Implement talent management strategies, including succession planning and leadership development
  • Manage performance management processes and provide coaching to managers
  • Support in recruitment activities, including interviewing, and selecting candidates for open positions
  • Participate in the offer making process by preparing and presenting job offers to successful candidates, negotiating terms in alignment with company policies, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. 
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and resolve employee relations issues
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage small to medium-sized HR projects
  • Develop and deliver training programmes on HR topics; 
  • Collaborate and align with Works Council; 
  • Oversee the management of sickness absence in accordance with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, ensuring compliance with Dutch legislation and supporting both employees and managers throughout the process
Experience - the ideal candidate will have
  • 4–7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Experience working with the Works Council and managing absenteeism cases
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of Dutch employment law
  • Strong advisory skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English
  • Availability of at least 32 hours per week
